Pro Bill DelSanto

Hailing from Rhode Island, Bill DelSanto is an up and coming young American pro making his presence felt in the poker world. Bill grew up around cards his whole life, regularly watching his parents and family play cards at the kitchen table in his teen years. His first crack at the game came when his grandfather had to go to the bathroom and asked Bill to sit in for a few hands. This was the start of bigger and better things for Bill.

Bill started playing small stakes in high school when he was first learning the game. He’d host regular home games for all of his friends, as Chris Moneymaker had just won the World Series of Poker and sent the world into a poker frenzy. Eventually outgrowing the stakes his friends played, Bill went on to start grinding the games at Foxwoods while underage. Managing to generate a nice winrate was never a problem, but rather bankroll management ended up putting Bill to the test on several occasions. Finally after being kicked out of Foxwoods for playing underage, Bill transitioned into the world of online poker.

Bill can be found  playing a wide variety of games online. He can be regularly found playing anything from hold’em to HORSE. Speak of HORSE, Bill recently took down the $215 SCOOP HORSE even on PokerStars, taking home over $30,000 for his efforts. He can also be found playing the WSOP and WPT live event circuit (look for him to be wearing Organic Rakeback apparel in the near future).

Bill stresses the importance of maintaining balance in life. He appreciates the idea of being involved in other activities outside of poker. He can be frequently found hitting the links and honing his skills on the putting green when he’s not at the tables. Look for big things to come form this young pro in the near future!
